Description
In the Sanayeh Gardens, one of the few public gardens in Beirut, men gather to play board games and cards. The men pictured have taken the tops of soft drink bottles, filled them with wax and play with them. They refer to each of the pieces by the name of the company: red is coca-cola, orange is miranda and blue is pepsi. They also have green pieces for 7-up, which are kept in the potato chip container on the table. Additionally they have taken the tops of dish soap to create game pieces.
It is of note that they have repurposed large containers to use them as seats.
